Moment: My moment does come from the 6th grade. We had just moved across town and I was in a new school. One of my friends from my old school (Amy Foldesi, who also was the lead singer in our airband stint (see entry for Culture Club, "Do You Really Want to Hurt Me?")) came over to visit me in my new hood. My dad drove us out to the local video store (pre-Blockbluster days, for sure), and we rented Pretty in Pink and got to watch in my parents' room. I remember lots of jumping around on their big bed while watching the movie.
